TAPC is commited to providing the best education, producing the best graduates, and elevating the standards of the industry, by providing up-to-date knowledge in technologies and techniques in the field of permanent cosmetics.
Our Classes
Our Apprenticeship Course is an in-depth immersion into the field of Permanent Cosmetics. Our course includes the Tennessee State mandated 1-year apprenticeship. When you successfully complete the program, you will have your Tennessee State Tattoo License.
Classes are conveniently held on Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. Our clinic accepts appointments on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. and Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Services are performed by appointment only to allow working professionals and students enrolled in other programs to attend. Missed classes can be made up at a later date.

What will I learn in the Apprenticeship Program?
- Clean Room Set-up- Maintaining a safe working environment, Bloodborne Pathogens and Infection Prevention. Tennessee State Laws and Regulations.
- The Science of Permanent Make-up
- Client Consultation – Asking the right questions and explaining the process before, during, and after the procedure.
- Face Shapes, Skin Types, and Layers of Skin – Determine the best plan for your guest’s service based on the individual needs of the client.
- Color Theory – How to choose the correct colors and pigments for your service or for correction of a previous service.
- Brow Design – Choosing the correct shape, placement, and technique.
- Scalp Micropigmentation – Candidates, procedure, safety, color selection, and technique.
- Nano blading brows – Procedure, safety
- Shading, Ombre, and Powder Brows- Procedure, safety, and technique
- Lip Blushing—Lining and shading of the lips
- Eyeliner
- Freckles
- Beauty Marks
- Review and Practice
- Models – You will have the opportunity to work on both living and artificial models.
How much is tuition?
The cost of tuition is $12,500 with financing and payment plans available.
