Chad Walker

Director of Operations

Hi, I’m Chad Walker. I am the former Director of Operations at Tennessee School of Beauty and an educator at The Academy of Permanent Cosmetics. I have worked for years in the beauty industry, holding a Tennessee Cosmetology Instructor License as well as an active Tennessee State Tattoo License. I take great pride in sharing my knowledge and assisting in the growth of new artists. I enjoy interacting with students and cheering for them as they discover new successes and achievements.

Through my experience with curriculum development and education, I strive to bring excitement and passion to the classroom. My goal with TAPC is to bridge the gap between the cosmetology industry and traditional tattooing.

I have witnessed how self-care and self-esteem go hand in hand, and I love being part of an industry that assists in increasing confidence and self-worth for clients.

Nikki Kamar

Hello everyone! My name is Nikki Kamar. I am a lead instructor and co-owner of The Academy of Permanent Cosmetics.

I have developed my own training program and curriculum in which new artist will learn skills, different techniques, receive fundamental training, and have a fresh start to a new career path. In addition to learning how to become a permanent makeup artist, you will be working towards Tennessee State Tattoo licensure.

In order to teach others, I have dedicated many hours to advanced trainings, learning from many of the Industries Greats. I have made my share of mistakes initially as a newer artist and have learned from them. I love to teach from my personal experiences to give my students as much real-world knowledge as possible.

I came into this industry not by chance, but to enrich people’s lives through enhancing their beauty.

My vision for The Academy of Permanent Cosmetics is to not only teach what I have learned to all my students, but to develop a relationship with everyone in which we can learn from one another in a safe space for personal growth.

Staci Nelson

Welcome to TAPC! I’m Staci Nelson, Nikki’s sister and fellow educator. As a native of Knoxville, I’m so proud to be instructing in my hometown’s first PMU Academy. I truly enjoy the permanent cosmetics industry and I’m always looking for new technologies and techniques to advance and improve the services our students learn. I love helping students and teaching by sharing my experiences with them. Professionally, I’ve provided eyebrow, scalp micropigmentation, and lip blushing services, but my absolute favorite is eyeliner.

In addition to permanent cosmetics, I enjoy traveling, cooking, riding motorcycles, and spending time with my family, especially my grandson.

I look forward to meeting new students, sharing my knowledge, and watching them grow as artists.

Trinity Lynn

I’m Trinity. From the moment I graduated high school, I knew I wanted a career in body art, so I dove head first and never looked back. I attended The Academy of Permanent Cosmetics where I built a solid foundation in precision, cleanliness, and technique. Once my training was complete, I joined a tattoo shop, expanded into piercing, and found my true: helping people feel confident in their own skin. Every piece I create is personal, no matter if its a meaningful tattoo, a clean, professional piercing, or a life-changing PMU session. I’m always learning, growing, and striving to be better every single day. I now share my knowledge by instructing at The Academy of Permanent Cosmetics, where I first touched ink to skin.
